Rachel Boston

Rachel Boston, 89, of Danville passed away at 7:30 pm Thursday May 6, 2004 at Provena USMC Logan Campus ER. Rachel was born September 14, 1914 in Chrisman the youngest daughter of the late Thomas H. and Verdie (Dickson) Boston. Survivors include 4 half nieces and 1 half nephew. Good friends Robert (Betty Jean) Smiley and Mrs. Dorothy Anders and family all of Danville. Rachel retired in December 1984 from the finance office of the City of Danville, where she was employed for fifteen years. Prior to that she worked for eighteen years at Sugar Creek Creamery. Rachel was a member of First Presbyterian Church since 1948 and over a 50-year member of the Danville Business & Professional Women's Club.
