Priscilla R. Johnson, 49, of Danville, went to be with the lord at 6:58 a.m. Friday, April 18, 2008 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. Priscilla was born on April 2, 1959 in Aguada, Puerto Rico, the daughter of Benjamin O. Johnson and Mercedes Gonzalez Santoni. She is survived by her mother- Mercedes Gonzalez Santoni of Danville; father- Benjamin O. Johnson of Danville; two sisters- Rose (Robert) Walker Epmeier of Danville and Aileen (Cliff) Motsay Powell of Covington; Aunts and Uncles- Marcella Burton of Covington, Bill and Ramona Lucas of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Charles and Mary Johnson of Little Rock, Arkansas and Heida (Edwin) Guzman Deltona, Florida; nieces and nephews- Chasity L. Galey, Brittanie R. Galey, Francis B. Motsay and Maria (Jeremy) Wolf; great niece- Mercedes I. Wolf; great nephew- Aiden; and cousins- Diane (Jeff) Dennis, Grant Burton, Gary (Janelle)Burton, Brian (Laura) Lucas, Neil Johnson, David Johnson and Ricky (Alice) Barreto. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents- Francisco Gonzalez Hidalgo and Maria Rivera and her paternal grandparents- Charles O. Johnson and Z. Lucille Johnson and various cousins. Priscilla graduated from Washington School in 1980. She was currently attending Crosspoint Day Training School and residing at Blueridge CILA. Priscilla enjoyed working with her class at Crosspoint and visiting with her friends. She was baptized at Second Church of Christ and attended Ridgeview Baptist Church. Priscilla loved Jesus and loved to attend various church services and activities in the area. She enjoyed coloring, doing word searches, eating pizza and listening to music, especially Elvis. A Celebration of the Life of Priscilla R. Johnson will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 21, 2008 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, with Pastor Mark Keyser and William E. Lucas officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00 " 4:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park following the service.
