Danville- Priscilla Elizabeth Cade, 91, of Danville passed away at 5:30 PM on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at home surrounded by her family. She was born on December 31, 1919 in Danville to Fleetwood Ellsworth and Grace Leona Walker Burroughs. She married William Dale Cade on November 27, 1938 in Rockville, IN. He preceded her in death on June 25, 2001. Surviving are two sons, Norman Lee (Myrna) Cade and William David (Valorie) Cade; two daughters, Sherrill Ann (Kenny) Boen and Becky Lynn (Jerry) Moses; 16 grandchildren, Brad, Tammi, Betsy, Tim, Mike, Ben, Emily, Abby, Lori, Kevin, Kelli, Cheyne, Andrea, Jay, Grant, and Natalie; 13 great grandchildren; and special nieces Sondra, Jody, and Judy. In addition to her husband, Priscilla was preceded in death by her parents, son Daniel Alan Cade, a sister Madaline Leona Wallace and grandson, Ian. Priscilla loved to cook for family and friends. No matter who stopped by for meals, no one ever left hungry. She also enjoyed painting and other crafts, as well as shopping with her daughters and granddaughters. Priscilla had a special sense of humor and always had a place in her heart for her special pet Buttons. A service to celebrate the life of Priscilla Cade will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, April 30, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home in Danville. Pastor Dave Anderson will officiate. Burial will follow at Springhill Cemetery in Danville. Visitation will be from 4-7 PM on Friday, April 29 also at Sunset.
