Ponniah Sivanesan

Ponniah Sivanesan, 71, of Danville passed away at 10:57 PM on Tuesday, May 31,2016 at Presence USMC, Danville. He was born July 8, 1944 in Malaysia the son of Ponniah and Annaluxmy Sivanesan. He was united in marriage to Vasanthi Sivanesan, she preceded him in death. He will be missed by: three sons, Sajeev, Rajeev, and Deeban Sivanesan of Danville; two brothers, Ganesan and Rasan Sivanesan; three sisters, Rathymathy, Chandra, and Patamini. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Kuhan Sivanesan. A Celebration of Ponniah's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Sunday, June 12, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center 3940 N. Vermilion St. in Danville. Officiating will be Mindy White. As per his wishes he will be cremated. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Sunday, June 12, 2016 at the funeral home.
