Polly Marie Hawley, 71, of Westville, passed away at 1:00am, Thursday, October 1, 2015, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on May 28, 1944, in Danville, IL, the daughter of Lee E. and Martha {Leeper} Harper, both deceased. On June 7, 1970, she was united in marriage to Phillip A. Hawley in Danville, IL. He will miss her dearly. She will also be missed by: her children, Crystal Young of Virginia, Larry (Jessica) Parson of Danville, Carl Parson of Danville, & Elizabeth (Lee) Ligocki of Georgetown; her grandchildren, Phillip M. Hawley of Westville, Keonna Senter of Georgetown, Eli (Loriann) Godines, Polo (Rosy) Godines, Angelica Godines, all of Houston, TX, Jimmy, Robert, Christy, Artis, Michael, James, all of Virginia, Julia, Kyle, Shawn, & Tyler, all of Danville; her great grandchildren, Gabriel Hawley, Amber, Ariana, & Amy Godines, Jose "Trae" Compos III, Alexis, Mariah, Jayden, Makayla Mayberry, & Julian Camacho; her brother, Milton "Cricket" (Sandy) Harper of Tilton; her sister, Betty (Robert) Elliot of Knoxville, TN; her brothers-in-law, Wendell (Amy Cook) Hawley of Westville & Larry (Patty) Hawley of Terre Haute, IN; her sister-in-law, Tracy (Penny) Hawley of Westville; her nieces & nephews, Cody Hawley, Lora Hawley, Ann (Troy) Meadlo, Sam (Gary) Clark, Donnie (Amy) Hawley, Amanda (Wink) Pridemore, Donna (Bill) Murray, Penny (Rick) Boyd, Christina (Tim) Lewis, Tammy Harper, Rob Harper, & Jane Rogers; her special friends, Jim & Becky Bonebrake; and many extended family and friends too numerous to count. She was preceded in death by: her parents; her daughter, Polly Ann Godines; her son, Kenneth Wayne "Charlie Brown"; her grandson, Jeremy Parson; her brothers, William, Robert (Janice), & Rusty (Bev) Harper; her sisters, Barb Harper & Dolly (Homer) Amos; and her nephew, Richard Hawley. Polly had previously worked at Chemcast and eventually retired from there. Later, she worked as a Caregiver and enjoyed helping people in their homes. Polly loved line dancing when she could. She loved to travel with Phil on the motorcycle and was known to "nap". She enjoyed lounging by the pool. She especially loved spending time with her family. Polly will be forever missed by all who knew and loved her. A celebration of Polly's life will be held at 10:00am, Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel with Raymie Gordon. A visitation will be held 6:00pm - 8:00pm, Monday, October 5, 2015, at the funeral home. As per her wishes, she will be cremated and laid to rest in Sunset Memorial Park at a later date.
