Phyllis Cox

Phyllis Cox of Danville passed away in her home on Saturday, December 10, 2016. She was born December 16, 1947, the daughter of Gordon Leroy Parsons and Lois (Odle) Parsons in Danville, IL. Phyllis is survived by: her husband, Ronald; her son, Daniel (Bird) Williams; her stepsons, Ronald Cox, Jr. & John Roy Stuebe; her daughters, Carolyn Fegett (Michael)& Katherine (Williams) Beard; her step-daughters, Amy Cox & Tonya Stuebe; her brother, Gordon Parsons (Charolotte); and special friend, John Stuebe; as well as, many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents. Phyllis enjoyed dancing, cooking, playing cards, telling jokes and most of all spend time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren. A celebration of Phyllis' life will be held at 12:00pm, Wednesday, December 14, 2016, at Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel, 414 S. State St., Westville, with Pastor James Blue officiating. Visitation will be held two hours prior to her service on Wednesday at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Rossville Cemetery.
