Perrysville, Ind. - Phyllis Ann Wilson, 77, of Perrysville, IN went to her eternal home on Wednesday, January 20th, 2021 at her farmhouse outside of Perrysville. She was born November 28th, 1943, the daughter of William Wolter and Betty Stockard Wolter, in Danville, IL. She was raised by her father and stepmother, Audrey Wolter, as a farm girl outside of Gessie, IN. She graduated from Perrysville High School in 1961 and always stayed in touch with her school friends. Phyllis married Kenny Wilson on March 9, 1963 in Gessie, IN. She was a homemaker and much-beloved wife, mother, grandmother (Mamaw), and great-grandmother. She was very active in her church, Stringtown Church of God. She considered her friends at church to be family, and enjoyed camping with them and all of the fellowship. She was a member of the Parke-Vermillion Gideon Auxiliary. She loved her family and friends, and spending time with them. She enjoyed traveling and had been to all 50 states, but one of her favorite places was the family cabin in northern Wisconsin. Her surviving family are so grateful for the many precious memories they will always cherish from the cabin, travels, and any time they were all together. She was always busy providing food and a second home to her family and friends, with parties and simply spending time visiting on the patio. Growing up as an only child, she loved and valued hosting parties on the farm, especially the third of July, Pastor Appreciation, and Christmas Eve. She cherished living on the farm, loved watching FOX News and looking after and taking care of her family members, chickens, and flowers. Phyllis is survived by her three children: Cheryl (Dan) Bridge of Perrysville, Carol (Keith) Dilts of Perrysville, and Michael (Jodie) Wilson of Crawfordsville; six grandchildren: Emily and Sam Bridge, Rachel (Tim) Peyton and Ethan Dilts, and Anne and Alison Wilson; and one great-grandchild: Zoey Peyton. Her sisters-in-law Mary Lee Payne and Weezie Roop and brother-in-law Kendall (Connie) Wilson survive. Many nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, infant sister Pamela, and husband Kenny. She will be deeply missed by her friends and family until they are all together again.
