Phillip Edward Harper

Danville Phillip Edward Harper, 61, of Danville passed away at 1:00 PM on March 20, 2021 at Piper City Rehab and Living Center in Piper City, IL.

Phillip was born on February 11, 1960 the son of Donald Richard and Anna Mae (Crispin) Harper in Danville, IL.

Survivors include his mother, Anna Mae Harper, daughter, Miranda Leigh (Shawn Rowley) Harper, one grandson, Revan Andrew Rowley, two brothers, Richard (Gloria) Harper, Robert (Shirley) Harper, and three sisters, Margaret (Mike) Padgett, Sandra (Mark) Knutson and Pamela (Mike) VanLeer.

Phillip is preceded in death by his father, Donald Richard Harper and two brothers, Norman Harper and Donald Harper, Jr.

Phillip worked at KIK, News-Gazette and Monical's. In his free time, he loved to fish and enjoyed working on his cars and tinkering with lawn mowers.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Graveside Service will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at Sunset Memorial Park. Ken Cameron will officiate. Inurnment will be in Sunset Memorial Park. Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center 3940 N Vermilion St., Danville, Illinois 61834 is assisting the family with arrangements.

Memorials may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
