Philip K. "Muggs" Bryant, 83, of Westville, went to be with the Lord at 1:23am, Wednesday, April 22, 2015, at Presence USMC, Danville, IL. He was born to Samuel O. and B. Virginia {Pribble} Bryant on March 11, 1932. He is survived by: his wife, Donna Bryant; his sons, Mike (Fran) Bryant and Randy (Renda) Bryant; his 4 grandchildren; his 2 great grandchildren; and many nieces & nephews; as well as, several step children, step grandchildren, & step great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Donna Crowder, brothers, Jim Bryant & Terry Bryant, and a step-daughter, Penny Forrest. Muggs retired from PIE Trucking. He was a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ in Westville. He enjoyed helping others, spending time with his family, and spending time on his farm in Indiana. He also enjoyed going to auctions. Muggs was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, family member, and friend. A celebration of Muggs' life will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel, Westville, with Pastor Connie Bandy officiating. Visitation will be 12pm-2pm Saturday prior to his service at the funeral home. As per his wishes, Muggs will be cremated.
