Philip F. Free Philip Franklin Free, 82, of Danville, passed away at 12:05 AM on Tuesday, October 22, 2013. Philip was born on December 4, 1930 in Ann Arbor, Michigan, the son of Dale and Florence (Haggman) Free. He married Louise Cochran on June 28, 1952 in Dayton OH. She survives. Also surviving are 5 children, Carol (Eugene) Newman, Michael (Karen) Free, Philip Jr. (Susi) Free, Patricia (Kelly) Crisp, and Timothy (Karla) Free; grandchildren include Michelle, Neil, Jessica, Kendyll, Chuck, Christopher, Amy, Justin, Kari, Erica, Stephanie, Taylor, and Logan; and 16 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Beth (Kenneth) Levra Philip retired from R. and S. Printing Company in Danville. He enjoyed wood working, fishing and spending time with family. A Mass of Christian Burial for Philip will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, October 25, 2013 at St. Pauls Catholic Church in Danville with Father Greg Nelson officiating. A visitation will be held from 4:00 - 7:00 PM on Thursday, October 24, 2013, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home, in Danville. Burial will take place at St. Peter and Paul cemetery in Westville. Memorials can be made in Philips name to St. Pauls Catholic Church or American Heart Association.
