Penny Sue Webb

Penny Sue Webb, 55, of Westville, passed away at 7:05am, Tuesday, September 27, 2016, at Presence USMC, Danville. She was born on November 7, 1960, in Danville, the daughter of George H. and Sue {Boots} King. She was united in marriage to Gerald Webb on March 23, 2001, in Belgium, IL, until his passing on May 16, 2011. Penny worked at Ken's IGA in Westville for many years and had also worked at Judith Giacoma Grade School in Westville. She loved playing Bingo, doing puzzles & crosswords, going fishing, and taking trips out to Forest Glen Preserve. She also enjoyed reading and watching hummingbirds at her feeders. She was an Illini and Pittsburg Steelers fan. She knew several people and was loved by many. She will be dearly missed by: her mother, Sue Rollins of Westville; her children, Traci Dawes, Wendy (Jeffrey Jr) McDaniel, & Matthew Webb, all of Westville; her granddaughter, Madison Dawes; her brothers, George (Kelly) King of Home Gardens, Mike King of Champaign, Kevin King of Westville, & Mark King of Westville; her step-sister, Linda Rollins of Ft. Wayne, IN; her step-brother, Joe Rollins of Indiana; her uncle, David (Alice [dec.]) DeJaeger of Catlin; her many cousins, nieces, nephews, & close friends. She was preceded in death by: her father, George (Freda) King; her step-father, Ralph Rollins; her grandson, Aiden Dawes; and maternal & paternal grandparents. The family would like to extend a "thank you" to Pleasant Meadows Senior Living in Chrisman for all their care and support for Penny. A celebration of Penny's life will be held at 2:00pm, Monday, October 3, 2016, at Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel, 414 S State St, Westville, with Phil Jackson officiating. Visitation will be held 12:00pm to 2:00pm on Monday prior to her service at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Sandusky Cemetery, Westville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to her family.
