Peggy Mae Lete

Peggy Mae Lete, 90, of Westville, passed away at 9:44am, Thursday, July 18, 2019, at her home. She was born on September 3, 1928, in Danville, IL, the daughter of Russell C. and Ann {Strebing} Ryan. On June 30, 1956, she was united in marriage to Edward E. Lete until his passing. Peggy is survived by: her sons, Jerry Lete & Mark (Anna-Liza) Lete; her daughter, Cathy Lete; her grandchildren, Eli Lete, Goldie Mae Lete, Billy Hillard, Kayla Young, & Dustin Blankenship; her great grandchild, Dauson Lete Brooks; and her brothers, Dennis Ryan & Russell Ryan. She was preceded in death by: her parents; her stepmother, Elsie Ryan; her husband; her brothers, Robert, William, Jack, Jerry, & Thomas; her sisters, Ruth, Joan, & Arlene; and her step-sister, Myrna. Peggy enjoyed going to St. Marys Catholic Church where she was a member, playing Bingo, gambling, and watching her favorite television shows. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00am, Tuesday, July 23, 2019, at St. Marys Catholic Church, 231 N State St, Westville, with Fr. Hoffman officiating. Visitation will be 5:00pm to 7:00pm, Monday, July 22, 2019 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Westville, located at 414 S. State Street. She will be laid to rest in Resurrection Cemetery, Danville. Memorial donations may be given in her name to St. Marys Catholic Church.
