Peggy Carber

Peggy A. Carber, 67, of Georgetown passed away at 8:44 a.m. Monday April 17, 2006 at her home. She was born on November 14, 1938 in Danville, IL the daughter of Alvie and Mattie Johnson McCoy. Survivors include: three sons, Dennis Hernandez of Georgetown, Warren Richards Jr. of Georgetown, and Tysen Richards of Georgetown; two daughters, Vickie (Jack) Johnson of Danville, and Aundrea Carber of Georgetown; two sisters, Penny (Larry) Clore of Georgetown and Ethel Williams of Georgetown; eleven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and one sister. Peggy had worked at the VA Illiana Health Care System as an LPN. She enjoyed gardening, watching TV, and any outdoor activity. She especially loved her grandchildren. As per her wishes she will be cremated. There will be no services.
