Peggy Baldwin

Peggy Marie Baldwin, 87, of OFallon, IL formerly of Danville, IL passed away with her family by her side on September 5, 2022 at her home in OFallon, IL.

Peggy was born on January 18, 1935 the daughter of Elza and Ruby (McIntosh) Barrett in Danville, IL. She married Eddie G. Baldwin in Oakwood, IL on April 2, 1953 and he survives.

Survivors include two sons, Jerry (Jean) Baldwin of Ocean View, DE, Steven (Joan) Baldwin of OFallon, IL, and, one daughter, Carolyn (Philip) Cornell of Moore, OK, seven grandchildren, Jamie (Kevin) Wells of Ocean View, DE, Jennifer Baldwin of Baltimore, MD, Jason (Mandi) Cornell of Midwest City, OK, Joshua (Heather) Cornell of Temecula, CA, Nathan (Angela) Baldwin of St Louis, MO, Benjamin Baldwin of Yuma, AZ and Aaron Baldwin of OFallon, IL, eight great grandchildren, Noah, Caleb, Tyler, Abigail, Madelyn, Wyatt, Jackson, and Leo.

Peggy is preceded in death by her parents, six sisters and one brother.

Peggy was a member of Pleasant Grove Bible Chapel where she led music for many years. She enjoyed spending her free time square dancing and was an avid bowler and was inducted into the DWBA Hall of Fame.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834. Pastor Steven Pearson will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2022 from 2:00 4:00 PM at the funeral home.

Memorial may be made in Peggys name to the American Diabetes Foundation, American Heart Association or the Kidney Foundation.
