Peggy Ann Mosher

Oakwood Peggy Ann Mosher, 88, passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at Hawthorne Inn in Danville, IL. She was born on February 25, 1934 to Alpheus "Peck" and Gwendolyn (Brazelton) Lomax in Oakwood, IL. Peggy married Henry "Hank" Mosher in 1981 in Danville, IL.

Peggy is survived by her children Thomas (Deb) Hicks and Carolyn Hicks; 7 grandchildren; brother John Lomax; special friends Dick McCord, Barbara Fink, and Carlos Stewart; and her two cats. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and brother Charles Lomax.

Peggy enjoyed collecting antique dishes and dolls. She liked wildlife and loved living in the country.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 from 9am-10am at Sunset Funeral Home, 105 E South Main St, Oakwood, IL 61858. Service will follow at 10am at the funeral home. Pastor Kent Tibben will officiate. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made in Peggys name to Trinity Lutheran Church in Danville, IL.
