Peggy Ann Hanthorn

Danville - Peggy Ann Hanthorn, 83, passed away on March 27, 2016 at North Logan Health Care Center in Danville, IL. She was born on September 1, 1932 in Danville, the daughter of Russell and Lois (Decker) Hibler. Peggy married Paul Hanthorn on February 14 in Danville. Peggy is survived by her son Gary Hibler; step-daughters Darla Sheldon and Donna (Jeff) Hanner; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother Russell Gene (Donna) Hibler; and sisters Wilma Miller and Betty Hale. Peggy is preceded in death by her parents, sister Georgia Miller, and brothers Ronnie and James Hibler. Peggy enjoyed being outdoors and working in the yard. She was employed as a housekeeper at St. Elizabeth's Hospital Sager Campus and Days Inn in Danville. Visitation will be held at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center on Friday April 1, 2016 from 1-3pm with service to follow at 3pm at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Oakhill Cemetery.
