Pedro G. Sanchez Jr.

Pedro G. Sanchez Jr., passed away on June 6, 2025, at the age of 53 in Rantoul, IL. He was born on October 7, 1971, in Watseka, IL.

Pedro attended Parkland College and worked for UNFI Supervalu in Urbana. His infectious spirit and love for playful banter made him a joy to be around, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Christina Sanchez, loving mother, San Juanita Ramirez, daughter, Katrina (Monteen) Gray, four grandchildren: Markesha, Kanyah, Serriah, and Monteen Gray, great-grandchild, Kayari, siblings: Jorge L. (Trish) Ramirez, Christopher (Megan) Ramirez, Juana R. (Rolando) Ramirez, April Sanchez, and Dawn Veseli, several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; all of whom will carry fond memories of his laughter and kindness.

Pedro is preceded in death by his father, Pedro Sanchez Sr.

In his personal life, Pedro enjoyed camping and spending quality time with his grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He also liked to go on walks with his beloved dog Tasha.

Pedro’s spirit remains alive in the hearts of his family and friends, who will carry forward the joyful memories and love he shared with them.
