Pauline Smock

Pauline Smock, 84, of Georgetown, passed away at 7:02am, Thursday, December 7, 2017, at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana. She was born on August 17, 1933, in Hillsdale, IN, the daughter of Herbert and Emma {Connely} Smock. She is survived by: her son, John (Jonny) Smock of Georgetown; her two grandchildren; her sister, Carrie Viett of Clinton, IN; and her brother-in-law, Charlie Ark of Clinton, IN. She was preceded in death by: her parents; her two brothers, Jasper David Smock & Donald Herbert Smock; her sisters, Louise Sis' Divan, Mary Brown, & Phoebe Lois Ark. Pauline worked as a proof reader at R&S Printing for 40 years. She loved reading and her pets. The family would like to thank the staff at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana for their wonderful care of Pauline. As per her wishes, Pauline will be cremated, and no services will be held. Sunset's Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home, 200 E. West Street, Georgetown, assisted her family with arrangements.
