Pauline Rayl

Pauline Rayl, 76, of Danville, IL passed away at her home at 11:48 AM on April 6, 2025.

Pauline was born on November 13, 1948 in Danville, IL the daughter of William and Pauline (Cramer) Seilhymer, Sr.

Survivors include her children, Carrie Ann Ricketts of Danville, IL, Maragret Rayl of Midway, AR, Zeda Rayl of Midway, AR, Jerry Ricketts of Danville, IL and bonus daughter, Rikki (Josh) Wangler of Danville, IL, and her partner, Dewey Rayl of Midway, AR. She is also survived by her twelve grandchildren and one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

Pauline is preceded in death by her parents, one stepson Roy Ricketts one brother, William Seilhymer, Jr, one sister, JoAnne Seilhymer and one granddaughter, Alora Rayl-Davis.

Pauline enjoyed spending her free time with her children and grandchildren and watching Westerns on television.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM on May 12, 2025 at Abundant Life Pentecostal Church of God, 400 N Logan Ave, Danville, Illinois 61832. Pastor James Ford will officiate. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from Noon until 1:00 PM at the church.

Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834 is assisting the family with arrangements.

Memorials may be made in Pauline’s memory to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Riley Hospital for Children.
