Pauline L. Lorenz

Pauline L. Lorenz 86 of Tilton passed away at 11:20 P.M. Saturday April 22, 2006 at Provena USMC Hospital. She was born September 13, 1919 in Logansport, In, the daughter of Leonard and Myrtle Hicks Knipple. Pauline married Dr. Stewart Lorenz on October 4, 1947 in Fort Wayne, In; he survives also one daughter, Debra Adler of Mesa, AZ, one granddaughter, Summer (John) Stone of Indianapolis. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son in-law Ory Adler and a cousin Mary Graf. In her earlier days Pauline was a beautician and had her own shop, then later worked for her husband at his Optometry practice in Danville. She was a member of Central Park Church of Christ; she enjoyed playing cards with her monthly group of life long friends. Pauline liked cooking, travel, listening to music, shopping and crossword puzzles. She also had an interest for Amish ways of life, she and her husband Stewart loved ball room dancing. Most of all she loved her daughter and granddaughter in which she did many lovely things for them. A celebration of life funeral service for Pauline will be 10:30 A.M. Wednesday April 26, 2006 at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center. Officiating: Wade Martin. Burial will be in the Danville National Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service on Wednesday.
