Pauline June Sigler

Our beloved mother, Pauline June Sigler, left this earth to be with God, on Tuesday May 10th, 2011 at 8:25 a.m. at Provena United Samaritans Medical Center in Danville. She was born in Rankin, Illinois on June 23rd, 1935 to Margaret and William Watts. She was the second youngest to many brothers and sisters, including Esther, her best friend and sister throughout the years. She married Virgil Edwards and with him had four sons- Danny Edwards, Thomas Paul Edwards, Robert Lee Edwards and Johnny Joe Edwards. She then married Trenholm Eugene White, with whom she had Teresa Lynn White, Michael Eugene White and Lori (Tim) Yocius. After his passing, she later went on to marry Dallas E. Sigler Jr. They were together until his passing on May 28th, 1996. Pauline had many grandchildren- Ashley Orlea White, Kailey White, Carissa Yocius, Austina Cotton, Abbie Cotton, Asia Cotton, Ebony Stewart, Andre Stewart, Brittany Edwards, Scotty Edwards and Bobby Jo Edwards and great-grandchildren who she loved very dearly and was the light of her life. Pauline enjoyed many activities including reading, taking walks, doing puzzles and helping others. She worked for Cotton Nettle Filling, Shoneys, District #118 and homecare for the elderly. Pauline was preceded in death by her husbands, brothers, sisters, three sons and a great-granddaughter- Zoe. She had many special friends throughout her life that she loved and cherished. She dedicated her life to her children and God, and will be missed dearly. A Celebration of the life of Pauline June Sigler will be at 3:00 p.m. Friday May 20th, 2011 at Battle Focus Ministries, with Pastor P.J. Bourn officiating. Burial will follow the service at Oakhill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00-3:00 p.m. Friday at the church. Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, a Life Celebration Home is in charge of arrangements.
