Pauline J. Cheever

Mrs. Pauline J. Cheever 98, of Westville, passed from this world at 5:55am Saturday Oct 15, 2016 at Presence USMC. She was born July 4, 1918 in Westville, the daughter of John and Alexandra {Dobryzcki} Chrostowski. Pauline married Harry H. Cheever on July 3, 1941 in Wichita, KS. He preceded her in death in 1983. She was also preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Stanley, John, Alex, and Walter; and three sisters, Mary Lottie, and Helen. After her schooling, she moved to Chicago, Falls City, Nebraska, and spent most of her married life in Tucson, AZ before coming back to Westville in 1984. Mrs. Cheever was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Westville American Legion Post #51 Women's Auxiliary. She will be dearly missed by all her many nieces and nephews, with special thanks to Janice Felgenhauer, Patty Pierce, and Richard Chrostowski for all the care they have given. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, October 22, 2016 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 231 N State St, Westville. Fr. Timothy Sauppe will officiate. Visitation will be 4pm to 7pm Friday October 21, 2016 at Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel, 414 S State St, Westville.
