Pauline E. Ernst

Peachtree City, Georgia - Pauline E. Ernst, 96, of Peachtree City and formerly of Cayuga, Indiana, passed away Monday morning, April 29, 2013 at Southland Nursing Home in Peachtree City. She was born April 21, 1917 in Vermillion County, Indiana, the daughter of the late Frank and Pearl Murrmann Shelato. She married George R. Ernst on September 5, 1942 in Newport, Indiana. He preceded her in death on August 7, 1999. Survivors include two daughters, Estelle(David)Moore of Seattle, Washington and Irene(Victor)Gaylor of Peachtree City, Georgia; one son, Bill(Marsha)Ernst of Mt. Vernon, Ohio; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; two brothers, Robert(Beverly)Shelato of North Fort Myers, Florida and Max Shelato of Clinton, Indiana. Pauline was preceded in death by one sister and one brother. Pauline was a former hair stylist, operating a shop in Newport, Indiana. She was a member of the Cayuga Christian Church. Pauline was a 1936 graduate of Cayuga High School. She was a former member of the Cayuga Bunco Club and the former Delta Theta Tau Sorority. Pauline enjoyed making necklaces/beading, crafts, cooking and baking.
