Paula Kington-Miller

VILLA GROVE- Paula A. Kington-Miller 54, of Villa Grove, passed away at 7:46 a.m. on Saturday (January 11, 2014) at Carle Hospital in Urbana. Paula was born on February 13, 1959 in Urbana, the daughter of Joseph and Sonya Samara Kington. She married Terry Miller on May 1, 1987 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Villa Grove. She leaves behind her husband Terry; one daughter, Amanda Miller; parents, Joseph and Sonya Kington; brothers, Mark, Jeff, and Joe Kington; sisters, Pam, Tina, and Lydia Kington; and her mother-in-law, Ruth Miller-Brandon. Paula is preceded in death by one brother, Freddy Kington; father-in-law, John E. Miller; paternal grandparents, Irvin and Mary Kington; and maternal grandparents, Herbert and Lorabelle Griffith. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Villa Grove, and had a love for doing charity work. Paula could be described by many as very loving, caring, and always helpful. Spending time with her cats, family and on her new patio built especially for her by her husband Terry. Paula just enjoyed sitting out on the patio watching the birds. Cremation rights have been accorded by Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 710 N. Neil St., Champaign. A mass will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 405 W. Clark St., Champaign with Father David Sajdak officiating. Family and friends will gather at V.F.W. Post 5520, 609 Edgebrook, Champaign following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Champaign County Humane Society, ASPCA, or to Carle Paulas memory.
