Paul W. Miller, Sr.

Cayuga, Ind. - Paul W. Miller, Sr., 82, of Cayuga, passed away at 5:10 p.m. EDT Sunday, July 9, 2017 at The Waters of Covington in Covington, Indiana.

He was born September 14, 1934 in Tilton, Illinois the son of the late Joe and Jessie (McMillan) Miller.

Paul married Louisa Marie Cundiff on March 2, 1956 in Danville, Illinois. She preceded him in death on March 26, 2010.

Survivors include five sons, Paul W. Miller, Jr. of Cayuga, Indiana; Charles Miller of Perrysville, Indiana; Earl (Pam) Miller of Cayuga, Indiana; Darrell (Nancy) Miller of Brownsburg, Indiana and Andy Miller of Cayuga, Indiana; five grandchildren, Matt and Megan Miller; Mike and Ryan Miller, and Stacey Harvey Brown; five great grandchildren; three sisters, Josephine Doan of Dana, Indiana; Maxine McCormick of Terre Haute, Indiana and Linda Christianson of Florida; two brothers, George Miller of Georgetown, Illinois and Harley (Sondra) Miller of Oakwood, Illinois, and several nieces and nephews.

Paul was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.

Paul retired in 1995 as a truck driver for Thomas Excavating in Tilton, Illinois. He enjoyed fishing, mushrooming, cribbage, NASCAR and the Chicago Cubs.

Funeral services: 10 a.m. EDT Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana; Officiating: Jack Holycross; Burial: McKendree Cemetery in rural Georgetown, Illinois; Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. EDT Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at the funeral home.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 11, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m. EDT at the funeral home.
