Paul Stark

It is with deep sorrow that the family of Paul D. Stark announces the unexpected passing at OSF Hospital in Danville, IL on April 2, 2020, at the age of 67.

Paul also known to most as "Pauly" was born on June 1, 1952 to Joseph ("Babe") Stark and Barbara (Coleman) Stark.

He will be sadly missed by his wife and best friend. He married Debra (Lumsargis) Stark on October 27, 1973. They were married for 47 years.

Other survivors include daughters Jaime (Collin) Lehr and Amanda Stark; grandchildren Paige and Erica Markell, Colby Lehr, and Nora Stark; brothers David (Nancy) Stark, Bruce (Becky) Stark, and sister Melissa (Tim) Harper; his brother in-law Keith Lumsargis; nieces Jenny, Nicole, Katie, Nikki, Samantha, Heather, and Amber; nephews Cole and Grant; cousins, and many dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers John and Randy, his sister in-law Patti, and his in-laws Walt and Marian Lumsargis who thought of Paul as their son.

Paul graduated from Westville Schools and then went to earn two Associates Degrees at Danville Area Community College. He volunteered several years to the Westville Fire & Rescue Department. He was also a CPR instructor for several years. He worked at Lauhoff Grain Company before retiring from General Motors after 30 years to be with his family more. He retired from General Motors in Bedford, Indiana in 2003.

Pauls grandchildren were the light of his life. They will sadly miss their Papa.

Paul enjoyed having patio time with his wife, wood working, remodeling, landscaping, and both talking to and helping his neighbors.

A private service for Paul will be held at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Westville, Illinois 414 S. State St. Westville Illinois 61883.
