Paul Roger Carlson

Danville Paul Roger Carlson, 76 of Danville passed away on October 31, 2022 at his home in Danville, IL.

Paul was born on October 15, 1946 the son of Paul Evar and Grace Clementine (Doyle) Carlson in Rockford, IL.

Paul is survived by his sisters, Sharon Carlson-Willis of Weyerhaeuser, WI and Annette, Hoglund of Rockford, IL, as well as two nieces.

Paul is preceded in death by his parents.

Paul graduated from Illinois State University in Bloomington, IL and retired from Danville High School District 118 as a Spanish teacher for over 30 years. He enjoyed spending his free time chaperoning Danville High School Sports and Student Activities, was a worldwide traveler, an avid crafter and was involved in a variety of community events and organizations.

As per Pauls wishes, cremation rites will be accorded, and private family services will be held. Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834 is assisting the family with arrangements.

Memorials may be made in Pauls memory to a student scholarship fund at Danville High School.
