Paul Powell

Paul D. Powell, 50, of Danville, passed away at 5:49am on Saturday, August 23, 2008 at Provena USMC in Danville. He was born on January 27, 1958, in Danville, the son of Chuck and Shirley Terry. On June 24, 1978, Paul married Lorri Cunningham in Sarasota Florida. She survives along with their four children; Jordan (Beth) Powell of Champaign, Jarred Powell of Danville, Mason Powell of Danville, Makenna Powell of Danville, and his mother Shirley. His father, Chuck, precedes Paul in death. Paul worked at Motion Industries in Crawfordsville, IN., as a branch manager for 25 years. His children were his pride and joy. He loved spending quality time with his kids and his wife. Paul enjoyed riding his Harley motorcycle and his long life dream was to go to Sturgis, which he recently fulfilled. He was a sports fan and enjoyed watching the Cubs, Bears, and Astros. Paul was a dog lover, especially his two, Lexie and Bella. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
