Paul Noggle, 85, of Georgetown passed away at 10:45am, Wednesday, August 20th, 2008, at his home. He was born on November 29th, 1922, the son of Elmer and Rozella (Sykes) Noggle, both deceased. He was wed to Margaret Benton on October 14th, 1944, in Dana, Indiana. She will miss him. Others who will miss him include: his sons, Donald (Rita) Noggle of Georgetown and Robert Noggle of Yucca Valley, CA; his grandchildren, Bret (Lisa) Noggle, Bryan (Brenda) Noggle, Brandon (Nancy) Noggle, Rusty (Jeanette) Noggle, Lauri (Laird) Thompson, Donna (Kerby) Cortipassi, Shelly Noggle, Carla Hilligoss, Kelly Noggle, Corey Noggle, & Ryan Noggle; his great grandkids, Billy, Kayla, Briana, Brendan, Jared, Aaron, Jenna, Caitlin, Jesse, Gabe, Ladonna, Kayla, Tyler, Morgan, Dalton, his great-great grandchild, Matthew; his sister, Nellie Laughhaun of Cayuga, IN; as well as, many extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by: his two sons, Billy Joe & Kenneth; two brothers; and three sisters. Paul was a farmer his entire life and farmed in the Georgetown and Newport, IN, areas. He and his brother placed 1st and 2nd in the Indiana State Corn Shucking Contest. He enjoyed playing cards, farming, and loved to coon hunt. He cherished the time he spent with all of his family, especially his grandkids. A Celebration of Pauls life will be held at 10:00am, Saturday, August 23rd, 2008, at Sunsets Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home, 200 E West St, Georgetown, IL. Joe Humrichous will officiate. Visitation will be 4-8pm, Friday, August 22nd, 2008, at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest in Thomas Cemetery, Newport, IN.
