Paul Delano Donaldson, Jr. Paul Delano Donaldson, Jr., 79, of Danville, passed away at 12:08 am, on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at Provena United Samaritans Hospital in Danville, IL. Paul was born on December 23, 1928, the son of Paul D. and Dorothy (Palmer) Donaldson. He married Darlene R. Streuer on December 24, 1971 in Danville, IL. She survives. Other survivors include sons Robert Eugene and Bruce Edward Donaldson, and Roger Allen Isenbarger, step-mother Barbara Donaldson, four brothers, John (Anita), Timothy (Sheryl), Stephen, and Nathan (Tracy) Donaldson, five sisters, Beverly (Jim) Wasson, Pamela (Dan) Kinmetz, Charmaine (Dan) Jordan, Sharon (Bill) Keith, and Elizabeth Donaldson, as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Paul was preceded in death by one sister Jeannine, his father, and his stepmother Helen Vlasic. After graduating from Hammond Tech High School in Hammond, IN, Paul went on to work at Danville Auto Parts, and later Lenover Sales, where he worked as a parts salesman. After retiring from Lenover Paul delivered prescription medications for Osco Drugs. He earned his Ministers License from Home Missions Church and loved to sing in church. He enjoyed working on cars, watching pro-wrestling and spending time with his two nieces. A celebration of the Life of Paul Delano Donaldson, Jr. will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2008 at 1:00 pm at Sunsets Community and Life Tribute Center (Formerly Lakeside-Barrick) located at 3550 N. Vermilion St. in Danville. Reverend James Ford will be officiating. Memorials in Pauls name may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
