DANVILLE- Paul Leo Bright 81 of Home Garden passed away at 12:30pm on Friday April 15, 2005 at the VA Illiana Health Care System in Danville. He was born November 15, 1923 in Georgetown, the son of Dwight and Ethel (Hall) Bright. Both his parents precede him in death. On May 15, 1954 he married Juanita Hall, she survives along with her seven children, Louis Bratton of Charleston, IL, Larry Bratton of Westville, Janice (Jim) Evans of Danville, Barbara (Guy) Stephens of Indianapolis, Ind, Donald Bratton of Indianapolis, Ind, Connie (Bill) Gumm of Sidell, and Paula Long of Georgetown. Other surviving family members is one brother, Eugene (Ness) Bright of Enterlachin, Fl, one half-sister, Betty (Wayne) Scott of Tupelo, Miss., nineteen grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his sister Mary and his brother Charles. After Pauls three-year tour of duty with the U.S. Army, he was employed at the Bunge Lauhoff Grain Company as a loader for 28.5 years, retiring on Feb 1, 1987. Paul was a former member of the American Legion Dornblaser Post 203 in Georgetown, and he enjoyed gardening, fishing, camping and spending time with all of his grandchildren. Paul was an avid Chicago Cubs, Bears, and Illini fan. He enjoyed life and his family to the fullest and will be missed by all that knew him.
