Patsy Jean Pribble was born October 31, 1932, in Bethel, IL, the daughter of Guy Leslie and Hazel Ruth {Jones} Humrichouse. She died at 7:30am, Sunday, July 7, 2013, at Pleasant Meadows Christian Village, Chrisman. She attended Harrison Grade School and Ridge Farm High School. She married in 1950 Robert R. Pribble and spent the rest of her life in Georgetown. They divorced in 1973. Patsy was preceded in death by her parents and one son, David Pribble. She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Cindy' L. (George) Grasser of Wasilla, Alaska, Janet K. (Craig) Thompson of Georgetown, Steven Ray Pribble of Georgetown, & Perry A. Pribble of Georgetown; her daughter-in-law, Sheryl Pribble of Everett, WA; her grandchildren, Emily & Jake Grasser of Wasilla, Alaska, Jason (Kim) Thompson of Fisher, IN, Jessica (Blair) Cohen of Champaign, Rebecca & Austin Pribble of Everett, WA, David Wayne Pribble of Oklahoma, Kaelab S. Pribble of Danville, & Sadie M. Pribble of Georgetown; her great grandchildren, Isaac Thompson of Veedersburg, IN, Dylan & Gavin Thompson of Fisher, IN, and Madison & Zachery Pribble of Danville; her brother, Don (Mary) Humrichouse of Iowa; and her sister, Shirley (James {deceased}) Scribner of Florida. Patsy worked at the Telephone Company, Windbreaker factory, the VA Hospital, St. Elizabeth Hospital, Vermilion County Nursing Home, and Pleasant Meadows Christian Village. She received her LPN from Danville Jr. College in 1985. She helped to establish the Ridge Farm Museum and frequently attended the Alumni Reunions. Patsy enjoyed sewing, refinishing and reupholstering furniture, flower gardening, and genealogy of her family; she attended the National Humrichouse Reunion in Indiana & Ohio. A celebration of Patsy's life will be held at 6:00pm, Wednesday, July 10, 2013, at Sunset's Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home, Georgetown. Visitation will be held 4pm-6pm on Wednesday evening prior to her funeral service. She will be laid to rest in Crown Hill Cemetery at a later time. Memorial donations can be given in her name to The Heritage House Museum in Ridge Farm or the Illini Genealogical Society in Danville, in lieu of flowers.
