Patricia Trimble

Patricia D Trimble, 85 of Oakwood, IL went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 19, 2022 at 1:05 p.m. at Hawthorne Inn of Danville.

Pat is survived by her daughter Kathy (Joe Little) Barnes of Mobile, AL and several cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents Leland Tanner and Margarite Snyder (Sadler) and granddaughter, Julie Dauphinee.

Pat was born on November 19, 1936 in Danville, IL. She worked on the farm in Oakwood for 33 years. Following that she worked for the Oakwood School District for 21 years as a bus driver and substitute cook.

Pat loved the Lord, the Muncie Baptist Church, and the people in it. She served as flower decorator, meal coordinator, and directed many childrens Christmas programs. She also taught Bible School, Sunday School, and served on many committees. Pat loved getting together with friends to attend shows, luncheons, card clubs, and was always cooking and doing for other people. She was an avid Illini Basketball fan. She will be deeply missed.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 27, 2022 at Muncie Baptist Church at 205 Main St, Muncie, IL 61857. Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834 has been entrusted with arrangements. Officiating will be Pastor Dave Garver. Burial will be in Stearns Cemetery. Visitation will be held just prior to the service from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the church. Memorial donations may be made in Pats name to the Muncie Baptist Church.
