Patricia Powell

Patricia Powell, age 85, of Danville passed away at 1:05 p.m. on Thursday, July 18, 2019. She was born on July 09, 1934 in Danville, Illinois the daughter of Kermit W. and Mary K. (Claypool) Watrous. They precede her in death.

Also preceding her in death include one grandson, Ryan McBride; stepfather, John Dale Rose; and her husband, Gordon Powell.

Patricia leaves behind her five children, Cindy (Glen) Brown, Penny (Dick) Wagner, Wade (Marge) Powell, Sandra Heath, Matt (Donna) Powell; nine grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren.

Patricia retired from GE after working there for many years. She loved playing Bingo, Euchre, and listening to country music. She also enjoyed spending time with her three special friends, Sandy Black, Rita Blue, and Betty King. She will be missed dearly by her family and the people that loved her.

A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at Gundy Cemetery in Bismarck, IL. Officiating the graveside service will be Pastor James Blue. Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834 has been entrusted with arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to C.A.R.A, the no kill animal shelter in Tilton, IL.
