Patricia J. Pearson, 82, formerly of Georgetown, passed on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at Wyndmoor Senior Living, Terre Haute, IN. She was born on March 3, 1938 in Ridge Farm, IL, the daughter of Elza and Augusta (Smith) Pearson. She was united in marriage to Gene Warner for 32 years, together they had 3 children. She will be dearly missed by her son Terry Warner of St. Pete Beach, FL; daughters, Lori (Todd) Nafziger of Indianapolis, Cheryl (Vincent) Nittoli of Fishers, IN; Grandchildren, Lacey Gentry, Amanda (Adam) Spafford, Seanna Burgess, Allyson (Brandon) Weber, Brooke Nafziger, Alec and Ryan Nittoli; great grandchildren, Meghan Gross, Cailyn Gentry, Link Weber; sister, Linda (Dan) Hughes. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Dean, Merle, Ocel, Billy, Ronald, and Richard Pearson; sisters, Pauline Zick, Katherine Vacketta, Marjorie Gauldin and Ruth Barney; companion, Jim Higgins. Patricia worked as an operator for the telephone company for over 30 years. She loved baking and preparing meals for friends and family. She also found joy in shopping, dancing, and playing bunco. Patricia had a great sense of humor and loved making people laugh with her amusing storytelling and infectious laugh. She was kind and caring and would do anything for others. She loved spending time with her family and will be missed by all who knew her. A Graveside service will be held at 1:00pm on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at Forest Park Cemetery, Georgetown, IL. Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Georgetown, Illinois, 200 E. West St. Georgetown, IL 61846 is assisting the family in with arrangements.
