Patricia "Patty" Johnson Ohl

Newport, Ind. - Patricia "Patty" Johnson Ohl, 69, of Newport, passed away at 12:30 p.m. EDT Friday, May 8, 2015 at Union Hospital Clinton in Clinton, Indiana. Patty was born September 25, 1945 in Danville, Illinois, the daughter of the late Marvin and Lola Berniece Mack Johnson. Survivors include her long time companion, David Bailey of Newport, Indiana; two daughters, Gayla(Terry)Riggs of Rockville, Indiana and Missy(Larry)Lewis of Newport, Indiana; two sons, Kevin Fortner of Cayuga, Indiana and Buddy(Melony)Delp of Humrick, Illinois; fifteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; two sisters, Lola(Charles)Smith of Lodi, Indiana and Dianna(Jim)Hawn of Cayuga, Indiana; one brother, Phillip(LouAnn)Johnson of Wolcott, Indiana and several nieces and nephews. Patty was preceded in death by her two sisters, Lana Marshall and Colleen Wilson. Patty retired from TeePak in Danville, Illinois in 1991. She was a former member of the Cayuga American Legion Auxiliary Unite #263. Patty enjoyed watching NASCAR, singing, raising flowers and spending time with her grandchildren.
