Patricia 'Patti' Lutz

Patricia "Patti" Kay Lutz, 59, of State Line, IN, passed away at 7:58am, Wednesday, July 22, 2015, at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana. She was born on July 23, 1955, in Danville, IL, the daughter of Raymond H. Sr. and Sona Lou{Lewin} Meeker. She is survived by: Her children, Terry Lutz of Danville & Leah Lutz of Fairmount; her brother, Raymond H. "Butch" Meeker Jr of Tilton; and her sisters, Susan (Steven) Van Pelt & Jeana Hoskins, both of State Line, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Michael Meeker. Patti had worked at the Danville Polyclinic as a clerk in medical records. She enjoyed going to Nashville, TN, & was a huge fan of the Tennessee Titans. She also had a large collection of state magnets and collected anything with tigers. Above all else, her children were the enjoyment of her life and she always put them first and loved them very much. A Celebration of Patti's life will be held at 7:00pm, Monday, July 27, 2015, at Sunset's Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home, Georgetown, with Pastor Harold Varner officiating. Visitation will be held 4pm-7pm, on Monday prior to her service at the funeral home. She will be cremated as were her wishes. The family requests no flowers and instead wishes memorials to be given to her daughter, Leah Lutz, at First Illinois Credit Union to assist with funeral costs.
