Patricia 'Pat' Sue Gouty

PATRICIA PAT SUE GOUTY Patricia Pat Sue Gouty, 73, of Danville, passed away at 2:25 p.m. Sunday, April 17th, 2011 at the Hawthorne Inn. Patricia was born on August 31st, 1937 in Danville, the daughter of Claude and Ethel (Winegardner) Bowman. She married Bill Gouty in 1956, in Westville. They divorced in 1978 but remained friends all these years. He survives. She is survived by her daughter-Michelle Gouty of Danville; two brothers- Robert Gene Bowman of Danville and Dennis Bowman of Horace, Illinois; two sisters- Joann Hatley of Grand Prairie, Texas and Linda (Jerry) Spears of Irving, Texas; sister-in-law- Georgianna Myers of Covington, Indiana; two aunts- Edith Winegardner of Hoopeston, Illinois and Mary Elizabeth Winegardner of Williamsport, Indiana; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents. Patricia graduated from Westville High School in 1955. She worked at Peterson Puritan, CCL and KIK for 23 years, until she retired in 2007. She was a member of a Bunco club with her friends. She enjoyed animals, watching T.V. and going to the riverboat in Peoria. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and her friends. The family would like to say Thanks to the Hawthorne Inn and their staff for taking care of Patricia. A graveside service for Patricia Pat Sue Gouty will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 20th, 2011 at Sunset Memorial Park.
