Patricia 'Pat' A. Cohoon

Patricia Pat A. Cohoon, 83, of Georgetown, passed away at 1:20pm, December 14, 2013, at Pleasant Meadows Senior Living, Chrisman. She was born on April 9, 1930, in Georgetown, the daughter of Perry Rex R. and Mildred {Lewis} Cohoon, both deceased. Pat retired from Morris Flamingo in Danville as a carder with 44 years of service. She attended Elwood Friends Meeting, Georgetown, and she was a member of Illiana Genealogy Society. She loved to cook and complete jigsaw puzzles, as well as, crosswords. She also enjoyed playing video games and reading murder-mysteries. Those who will miss her include: her brother, Thomas (Louise) Cohoon of Georgetown; her sisters, Janet Harper & S. Jane Cline, both of Georgetown; her several nieces & nephews, great nieces & great nephews. She is also survived by her aunts, Vicky Haussy & Linda Bales, both of Georgetown. She was preceded in death by: her sisters, Donna Sue Cohoon & Barbara Binkley; and her sister-in-law, Ava Cohoon. A celebration of Pats life will be held at 10:00am, Friday, December 20, 2013, at Elwood Friends Meeting with Garry Hendrick officiating. Visitation will be held 4-8pm, Thursday, December 19, 2013, at Sunset's Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home, Georgetown. She will be laid to rest in Elwood Cemetery, Georgetown. Memorial donations may be given in her name to C.A.R.A., Tilton, IL.
