Patricia Mae Gilbert

Patricia Mae Gilbert, 55, of Danville, passed away at 7:44 a.m. on Wednesday, September 15, 2004 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. She was born June 21, 1949, in Goreville, Illinois, the daughter of Richard H. and Orpha L. (Black) Sullivan. She married Gene E. Gilbert on January 6, 1968 in Danville, Illinois. She is survived by: her husband of 36 years - Gene E. Gilbert of Danville; 2 Daughters- Terrie Lynn Gilbert, Amy Dianne Gilbert - both of Danville; her mother- Orpha Sullivan of Danville; 1 Brother - Richard L. (Martha) Sullivan of Danville; 1 Sister- Dianne (Dan) Unzicker of Danville; 3 Great- Nieces- Rhylee Jewell Kerst, Savana Barabas, Maecii Lee Barabas; 1 Great-Nephew- Arlen Kerst; a Special Friend and Business Partner - Dan VanWieringen; numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and many friends. Her father - Richard H. Sullivan, preceded her in death. Patricia worked for Model Star Dry-cleaning as Office Manager and Dry-Cleaning Manager for over 30 years. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church, Danville; and she was the co-owner of Comfort Enterprises that operates Ice Cream Video in Oakwood, IL. She had a deep faith, and was an avid daily reader of her devotional books.
