Patricia Lana Walker

Patricia Lana Walker, 65, of Dana, IN passed away at 11:25 p.m. Friday August 12, 2011 at Vermillion Convalescent Center in Clinton, IN. She was born on May 6, 1946 in Streator, IL the daughter of Ralph E. and Zelma Louella (Whitehurst) Patterson. She married Donald Walker on December 2, 1986 in Georgetown, IL. He survives. Other survivors include her sons; William (Valerie) Cole of Peoria, IL, Edward (Anita) Cole of Peoria, IL, Brian (Rose) Cole of Peoria, IL, Robert (Brandi) Shaffer of Georgetown, IL, Joshua (Melissa) Walker of Paducah, KY, and Cory (Jennifer) Shaffer of Indianapolis, IN; her daughters, Donna (Ron) Stonebraker of Dana, IN, Lana (Michael) Shields of Rantoul, IL, and Angelic (Lynda) Ross of Cayuga, IN; twenty nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren; her sister, Virginia Gaines of Chebanse, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and one sister. Patricia enjoyed crocheting and collecting angels. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. A celebration of Patricia's life will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday August 16, 2011 at Sunset's Houghton Leasure Funeral Chapel. Pastor Ray Silver will officiate. She will be laid to rest at Danville National Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11a.m. - 1p.m. on Tuesday before the service.
