Patricia L. Furman

Westville Patricia L. Furman, 82, of Westville passed away at 12:48 AM on Friday, February 3, 2023 at Colonial Manor in Danville. She has gone to be with her Lord and Savior, her parents Perry O. and Lucile V. (Bird) Brown, husband Forrest Furman, daughter Dawn Chezem, granddaughter Alicia, brothers Perry and Dale Brown, and son-in-law Allan Mackiewicz.

She leaves behind her daughter, Marla Mackiewicz, five grandchildren, many beloved great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a sister-in-law, Bette Brown.

Pat graduated from Danville High School in 1958. She worked for Autotron for 27 years. Pat was an avid Fighting Illini Basketball fan and enjoyed going to the softball and soccer games her granddaughters played in. She also spent fun days playing computer games with friends Susie and Marie and enjoyed Sunday dinners with her family. She has been a member of Second Church of Christ since 2010.

A service to celebrate the life of Patricia Furman will be held at 4 pm on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 3940 N. Vermilion St. Danville, IL 61834. Burial will take place at a later time at Sunset Memorial Park. Dr. Dale DeNeal will officiate. Visitation will be held from 2-4 PM prior to the service on Tuesday, also at Sunset in Danville.
