Patricia June Moore

Patricia June Moore, 67, of Cayuga, Indiana, passed away at 9:59pm, Friday, April 14, 2023, at her home surrounded by family. She was born on July 30, 1955, the daughter of Marion and Betty {Blanton} Thornton. She was united in marriage to James Moore on July 4, 1976. He will miss her dearly. She will also be missed by her children, Deloris Cawthon, Darin Moore, David (Kim) Moore, Jeffrey (Angela) Moore, and Misti (Rick) Jumps; her twelve grandchildren; her 9 great grandchildren; and her siblings, Richard Fout and Glenda Fout. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Christopher Thornton. Patti was a member of Cayuga Christian Church. She retired from Glas-Col, LLC after more than 25 years of service. She enjoyed rock and roll concerts, gardening, reading, and growing houseplants. She enriched the lives of dozens of local children as their babysitter and is remembered by many for the beautiful cakes that she baked and decorated. A celebration of Pattis life will be held at 10:00am (EST), Thursday, April 20, 2023, at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center, DeVerter Chapel, 215 N. Division Street, Cayuga, IN 47928 with Kurt Smith officiating. Visitation will be held 5:00pm to 8:00pm (EST), Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Georgetown Cemetery, Georgetown, IL. Memorial donations may be given in her name to Leukemia/Lymphoma Society.
