Patricia J. Graves

Bismarck Patricia "Pat" J. Graves, 88, of Bismarck, passed away at 5:12 PM on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at her home. She was born on February 1, 1935 in Danville to Henry W. and Beulah M (Withiam) Cook. She married Leon Graves on June 17, 1978. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by three daughters, Terri (Floyd C., Jr.) Reed of Bismarck, Jeanine (Jack) Keller of Sacramento, CA, and Paula (Rick) Jacko of Crawfordsville, IN; eight grandchildren, Dan, Amber, Patti, Becky, R.T., A.J., Zac, and Derrick; numerous great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; a brother, Billy Cook; and best friends, Faye Jordan and Patty Mitchell.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, two daughters, Becky Lynn Bradford and Cathy J. Giazat, and three siblings.

Pat was a graduate of Danville High School and went to work as a brazer for Heatcraft and later Bohn Aluminum. She was also a member of the Gao Grotto in Danville.

A service to celebrate the life of Pat Graves will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at the Chapel Mausoleum in Sunset Memorial Park in Danville. Pastor Raymie Gordon will officiate. Cremation rites have been entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 3940 N. Vermilion St., Danville, IL 61834. Memorials made in Pats name may be made to the Shriners Children Hospital.
