Patricia Grantiz

Danville - Particia “Pat” Granitz, 77, of Danville, passed away on November 12, 2013 at Presence United Samaritans Medical Center. She was born on October 1, 1936 in Danville the daughter of Raymond and Virginia (Fox) Storey. She was married to Kenneth Granitz on September 12, 1970, he survives. She is survived by several nieces and nephews, and cousins including a very special cousin Diane Lorenzini and her family. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers Richard and Albert. Patricia graduated from the Illinois Masonic Hospital School of Nursing and St. Mary of the Woods College. She was employed for 33 years in the medical office of Dr. Thomas Pollard. Patricia was a long time member of the Central Christian Church, active in the life of the church and an “Elder Emeritus” of the church. Above all else Pat loved her friends and family and she will be sorely missed by anyone who was fortunate enough to have known her. Patricias family would also like to extend their appreciation to the Carle Home Health Group and also to the nurses and staff on 4 east at Presence United Samaritans Medical Center. A celebration of Patricias life will be held at 10:00am on Monday November 18, 2013 at Central Christian Church in Danville. A visitation will be held from 2pm-5pm on Sunday November 17, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home in Danville.
