Patricia Ford

Patricia Ford, 78, of Danville passed away at home peacefully on Thursday December 17, 2015. Pat was born on January 17, 1937 in Harrisonburg, VA, the daughter of Roderick and Anna (Hogsett) Swann. She later married Richard "Ric" Ford on October 7, 1956 in Georgetown, IL, he survives. Also surviving Pat are four children: Timothy Ford, Stephen (Ramona) Ford, Mark Ford and Jennifer (Andrew) Jones, two grandchildren; Nicole Ford and Matthew Jones, one great grandson, Hanley Nichols and one great granddaughter on the way. In addition she is survived by one brother, James (Deborah) Swann. Pat was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Lillian "Lee" Swann. Pat enjoyed knitting, cross stitch, and reading but spending time with her family was her biggest joy. Visitation will be held at 1 pm on Monday December 21, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville. A celebration of Pat's life will be held immediately following the visitation at 2pm with Pastor James Blue officiating.
