Danville Patricia Edwards, 71, of Danville passed away at 9:20 PM on June 11, 2023 at Hawthorne Inn in Danville, IL.

Patricia was born on September 2, 1951 the daughter of Charles J. and Lillie M. (Holley) Robbins in Jasper, AL. She married Rex Edwards on April 3, 1971 and he preceded her in death on August 4, 2010.

Survivors include her sons, Joshua (Ashlee) Edwards of Danville, IL and Jeremy (Heather) Edwards of Indianapolis, IN, grandchildren, Zac Edwards, Benjamin Edwards, Meia Edwards, Ava Edwards and Riley Edwards, sister-in-law, Charlotte Robbins, Nephew, Michael (Marlane) Robbins as well as a great niece, Whitney Robbins and great Nephew, Truxton Robbins.

Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Rex Edwards and one brother, Eddie Robbins.

Patricia retired from Walgreens Accounting and enjoyed spending her free time watching older TV shows, especially Westerns, shopping online and spoiling her grandchildren. Patricia loved her family dearly, especially all of her grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, June 15, 2023 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834. Felix Velazquez will officiate. Entombment will be in Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 9:00-10:00 AM on Thursday, June 15, 2023 at the funeral home.
