Patricia Carson

Tilton - Patricia Carson, 85, of Tilton passed away at 7:05 am on February 23, 2017 at Presence USMC in Danville, IL. Patricia was born on May 27, 1931 the daughter of Wallace and Creta (Baughman) Carson in Danville, IL. Patricia had a strong faith in God and enjoyed worshipping with her church family at Latter Rain Fellowship Church. She was employed for many years at F.W. Woolworth in Danville, IL. Patricia is survived by her special nephew, Charles (Julie) Briggs of Tilton, special nieces, Chris (Don) Prouty of Danville, IL and Janice (JR) King of Tilton, as well as several other nieces and nephews, one special great nephew, Rick (Laura) Boyd, and one special great niece, Lacy Cronkhite both of Danville, IL, as well as other great nieces and great nephews, two great great nephews, Corey Boyd and Jackson Cronkhite, and five great great nieces, Amber (Daniel) Cole, Elizabeth Boyd, Savanna Cronkhite, Olivia Cronkhite, and Eris Valdez all of Danville, IL, and two great great great nephews, Noah Cole and Isiah Cole both of Danville, IL. Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, best friend and sister, Janice Briggs, one brother, Gene Carson and one niece, Carol Taylor. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 3940 N. Vermilion Street, Danville, IL. Pastor Don Prouty will officiate. Inurnment will be at a later date in Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 6:00 PM February 28, 2017 at the funeral home.
