She was an avid reader, a hot air balloon enthusiast and a rabid sports fan, especially Boise State football and Illini basketball. Pat attended all the kids school activities and was affectionately know to all as Granny. She had become a cyber granny, learning how to use a computer so she could communicate with her family in California and Idaho. Per Pats wishes cremation rites have taken place and a memorial service will be held for her in her garden at a later date. Sunset Funeral Home of Danville handled arrangements. Memorial donations may be made in Pats name to the Danville High Choral Music Boosters, St. Judes Childrens Hospital or the organization of the donors choice.
