Patricia Ann Weaver, 84, of Catlin, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on June 21, 2015. She was born the daughter of Edward and Lillian {Fitzsimmons} Woodard on December 20, 1930, in Georgetown. She was united in marriage to Phillip Weaver on May 20, 1951, at Georgetown United Methodist Church. He will miss her dearly. She will also be missed by: her twin daughters, Melinda (Richard) Long of Catlin & Malia (Joseph) Pelszynski of Danville; her son, Doug (Jan) Weaver of Catlin; her grandchildren, Josh (Natalie) Long, Jeni Barney, Drew (Courtney) Weaver, & Ian Weaver; her great grandchildren, Haleigh VanCamp, Hope VanCamp, Brooklyn Long, Gavin Long, Easton Barney, & Kinley Barney, & Ross Weaver; her sister-in-law, Shirley Kight of LeHigh Acres, FL; and her niece & nephew, Connie Pennington of Danville & Scott (Helen) Kight of LeHigh Acres, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Mary Green. Patricia was a bookkeeper and had worked for Prairie States Oil & Grease, then later for First National Bank of Georgetown, and then as Treasurer for the Georgetown-Ridge Farm School District. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Catlin. She played in the Bell Choir & was a Communion Steward. Patricia enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, cooking, knitting, playing the organ, & having family dinners. She will be dearly remembered by all who knew and loved her. A celebration of Patricia's life will be held at 2:00pm, Thursday, June 25, 2015, at Sunset's Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home, Georgetown, with Pastor Curtis Flake officiating. Visitation will be 4pm-7pm, Wednesday, June 24, 2015, at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Georgetown Cemetery. Memorial donations may be given in her name to First United Methodist Church of Catlin Church Memorial Fund.
